After graduation with a degree in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2018 Polly Bennett went on to pursue a Fellowship the following year. Alongside her studies, Bennett undertook various volunteering roles across London to further stretch her knowledge. She gained valuable experience from world renowned art organisations including Royal Academy of Arts and Christies Auction House. She is currently working as an Art Tutor and is Assistant to conceptual artist and photographer Bran Symondson. Within the past 3 years, Bennet has won and been shortlisted for numerous awards including Wealden Literary Festival Art in Residence and the Honorary Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers.
Combining her interests of museology and science, with immediate observational responses produced 'in-situ', Polly's practice collaborates with, and investigates her surrounding rural environment to re-visualise an experience of her own, and create one for the viewer.
